Niitvälja Golf – the home of Estonian golf

Niitvälja is the home of Estonian golf - the first golf course built in Estonia and in the Baltics, located just 30 km from Tallinn. It was opened in 1993 and the first architect of the course was Ake Persson. In 2006 the whole course was modernized and five new holes were built by the architect Peter Chamberline. In the last years, Estonian golfers have rated Niitvälja Golf as the best golf course in Estonia.

The 18-hole Park course is characterised by its natural features - untouched forests and abundance of water, all of which guarantee an unforgettable golfing experience. The jewel in the crown of the course is the Par-5 15th hole, which ends on a floating green, also called as ‘the island of tears’. In addition to its world-class Park course, Niitvälja has a five-hole pay-and-play course for beginners, called PAR20. It is the ideal place to get started with golf.

Niitvälja’s driving ranges are the biggest in the Baltic States, and also come with the widest range of options. Players can make use of the grass range, 50 golf range mats, three putting greens, two chipping & pitching greens, five practice bunkers and a nine-hole, open-air minigolf course for putting competitions.

In 2015 Niitvälja built its’ new clubhouse. There are various venues for rent, including a seminar room, VIP lounge with sauna and two-storied restaurant for up to 250 persons.
